Golf: Championship courses are Cabo's trademark with courses designed by Nicklaus, Watson, and other professionals. With Los Cabo's near perfect weather and the spectacular backdrop of Land's End, guests at the Villa del Palmar discover why golf writers have described the closest course to the resort - the par 72 Raven Club course -- and its surroundings as "an eighteen-hole wonder set on gently sloping hillsides with a spectacular backdrop of Land's End". The magnificent terrain is comparable and arguably preferable to that found in the finest Arizona and California desert golf courses. Los Cabos is especially beautiful due to the presence of the Sea of Cortez bordering many of the courses. Nearby courses include: Palmilla (rated one of the top 100 courses in the world) Raven, Querencia, El Dorado and Cabo Del Sol. Reservations are made directly with the concierge.
Spa: Pamper yourself, relax and rejuvenate at the 10,000 square foot Spa. There are many soothing massages and treatments to choose from: facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, etc. See the spa page for more details.
Pools: The pool complex has three pools including an activity pool, an adults-only freeform pool, and a relaxation pool with infinity-edge spa tub. Garden islets, waterfalls, and a huge Orca whale waterslide add to the fun. The pools gradually lead down to the beach through the central gardens of the resort. Complimentary lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, and towels are provided all throughout the pool areas.
Water Sports: Enjoy sailing and boating, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, water volleyball, body boarding at Medano Beach, located right at the base of the resort. Also available at some locations are many motorized water sports, including parasailing and jet skiing.
Diving and snorkeling: Many underwater adventurers have described the Sea of Cortez as "The World's Richest Sea". The waters are teeming with life in a myriad of colors and varieties. All of this makes for great diving and snorkeling. Beginner and advanced divers will enjoy the challenges near Land's End.
Fitness Center: Keep up on your exercise regimen at the resort. Enjoy great workouts at the exclusive, fully equipped Fitness Center. Select from several cardiovascular machines and workout stations with free weights, as well as daily yoga, kickboxing and aerobics classes. An instructor is available to guide you with your workout, or assist you in planning a regimen that is specific to your needs. After your workout, unwind and relax in the Fitness Center sauna, steam room or whirlpool.
Shopping: The Villas Plaza Mall provides all the amenities of a marketplace, and it's right on the premises. This mall includes a supermarket with a good selection of basic and gourmet, a pharmacy providing sundries, health and beauty products, and prescription services, an ice cream parlor, the Palmita Deli, Cyber Cafe, Mexico Lindo Jewelry and Fine Art, Bathing Suit Boutique, Mariselle & Emilios Fine Glass Art and Pearls from the Sea of Cortez, Sebastian's Mexican Handicrafts, Rogers Boots, the Silver Kiosk, Logo Shop, Video Rental Store (DVDs, VCRs), Laundromat, and Medical Services clinic. In-suite grocery delivery and pre-arrival grocery shopping are available so that everything you need is waiting for you on arrival.
Mountain Biking and ATV: Mountain bikes can be rented and are a fun way to discover the desert area around Los Cabos. You can also ride ATVs, Jeeps, and Hummers and ride through desert trails.

Kids in Paradise: Enjoy your vacation with the confidence that your kids are having their own fun at the fully supervised Kids Club. Well-trained, child certified staff provides age specific activities Sunday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm for children ages 4-12. Kid Nights including dinner, arcade, disco and fun on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Kids Club reservations should be made 24 hours in advance. The Resort Entertainment Office will gladly assist you.
Exploration and Sight Seeing: Enjoy some marvelous whale watching during the gray whale annual migrations. A must see is "El Arco", the perfect stone arch carved by the constant waves and breezes at the southernmost tip of the magnificent Baja Peninsula. Charming San Jose del Cabo is a site of interest that is on the eastern end and a reasonable drive from the resort.
Beach: Golden-sand shorelines stretch along the blue waters of the Sea of Cortez. The gorgeous beach at the Villa del Palmar is the perfect complement to the luxurious accommodations throughout the resort, with awesome views of Land's End and the Cabo San Lucas Bay. Enjoy sunbathing, strolling along the beach, jogging, brilliant sunsets, and soft starry nights. The surf is quite calm along this beach, so swimming and snorkeling may be fully enjoyed, along with all other water sports.
Tennis: There are two tennis courts available for the guests of Villa del Palmar. Open from 7 am until 8 pm, the use of the tennis courts is complimentary to all the guests and members. There is a charge of 10 USD per hour for the service of the lights for evening play. Complimentary tennis lessons are provided six days per week at 9 am (advanced-intermediate), 10 am (intermediate - beginners) and 11 am (beginners). The tennis pro is also available for private tennis lessons (reservation required a minimum of 24 hours in advance - based upon availability).
Meetings and Larger Gatherings: With meeting facilities for up to 300 people, Villa del Palmar provides ample room for company meetings, family reunions, or special event banquets. They can also accommodate smaller groups for receptions, meetings or gatherings. They arrange audiovisual equipment, technical resources and planning, breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets or full meal service for your event.
Fishing: The transparent blue waters of the Baja peninsula provide some of the best sport fishing anywhere! Known as the "the Marlin Capital of the World", Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, as well as Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Tuna and more thrive in the waters of the Sea of Cortez. Lands End's has the best fishing fleets in Latin America and the hotel concierge can assist you in planning an exciting day trip. (Reservations require a minimum of 48 hours in advance)
Daily Activities: Everyday, from 10 am to 4 pm, complimentary activities take place at the main lower pool and beach area including: Beach Volleyball, Water Aerobics, Pool Games, Water Volleyball, Basketball, Bingo and Shuffleboard. Spanish Lessons, Mexican salsa and guacamole making, volleyball, Ping Pong, shuffle board, bingo, and more games are offered.
Other Activities: The concierge can arrange for just about any type of tour and activity offered in San Lucas. All types of watercraft activities, horseback riding, bird watching at the San Jose Estuary, city tours, and so much more.
