Requirements for legal marriage for Bride & Groom, applicable for civil marriage only:

• Certified copy of birth certificate legalized *It must be authenticated with the apostille stamp.
• CANADA: The legalization done at the Mexican Consulate. This is not the Apostille (USA), mainly they’ll affix a document to the certified copy and that will go with a seal stamp by the Mexican consulate.
• Divorce cases: Certified copy of the divorce decree legalized *It must be authenticated with the "Apostille stamp".
• The translation into Spanish of the Divorce papers (In case of divorce clients) and birth certificates, done by a Proficient translator authorized by the H. Superior Justice Court.
• Tourist card (Migratory form for foreign visitors issued upon entering the country)
• Valid passports.
• Pre-nuptial blood test (screened for HIV, contagious diseases and relevant blood group).
• Four witnesses with their passports and tourist cards.
• Clients must arrive 3 business days (from Monday to Friday) before the wedding ceremony to go through all the paper work formalities.

• Documentation must be given together the day of the meeting with the wedding coordinator.

IMPORTANT: You will have to bring originals of all required documents (these will be given back). The legal offices will not give certified copies back. As Royal Solaris cannot be held responsible for incorrect documentation being taken to Mexico, please ensure all necessary documents listed above are hand carried with you. Reservations for wedding date must be made at least one month in advance.

From the date of receiving all your legal documentation and payment, 3 days are required to process the wedding documents needed prior to the actual wedding.
