There are several championship golf courses in the Los Cabos region: The Cabo del Sol Desert and Ocean courses are feature challenging oceanfront holes, and offer sweeping views of the desert hills and Sea of Cortez; The Robert Trent Jones-designed Cabo Real course; the Jack Nicklaus-designed El Dorado Golf Club; the Tom Fazio-designed Querencia Golf course; the Tom Weiskopf-designed eighteen-hole Desert Course at Cabo del Sol, and others. The magnificent terrain is comparable to that found in Arizona and California desert golf courses. Los Cabos is especially beautiful due to the presence of the Sea of Cortez bordering many of the courses.
  • Pools: There are 4 pools and two beachfront whirlpools. The main pool is a stunning huge freeform pool, with an arched footbridge with roped-tied bamboo hand railing spanning the pool width. Complimentary lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, and towels are provided all throughout the pool areas.
  • Water Sports: Enjoy sailing and boating, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, water volleyball, body boarding at certain areas along the Los Cabos shoreline. Also available at some locations are many motorized water sports, including parasailing and jet skiing.
  • Spa: Pamper yourself, relax and rejuvenate at the Royal Solaris spa. There are many soothing massages and treatments to choose from: facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, etc..

  • Beach: Golden-sand shorelines stretch along the blue waters of the Sea of Cortez. This gorgeous beach at the Royal Solaris is the perfect complement to the luxurious accommodations throughout the resort. Enjoy sunbathing, strolling along the beach, jogging, brilliant sunsets, and soft starry nights. The surf is powerful along this beach, and undertows and strong currents are present, so swimming and snorkeling are not advisable.
  • Fitness Center: At the Royal Solaris there is no need to skip your exercise regimen! The fitness center offers a complete line of fitness equipment, stationary bikes, free weights, etc. Also available are the indoor Jacuzzi, beauty salon, and steam room.
  • Shopping: A shopping boutique is located on the premises, where you can conveniently locate various essentials, as well as gifts and souvenirs. Visit Cabo San Lucas and shop the many stores along the Main Avenue downtown. Stroll the peaceful streets of San Jose del Cabo with its small cluster of unique shops. Whether you're looking for barber and beauty-hairdresser shops, newsstand and books, travel agencies, precious stones and silver or other jewelry, clothing and swimwear, Mexican handicrafts, hammocks, gifts and souvenirs, or leather products, you'll find it.

  • Junior's Club: This is a special area for teenagers with video games, mini-pool, music, and much more. Open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.
  • Exploration and Sight Seeing: Enjoy some marvelous whale watching during the gray whale annual migrations. A must see is "El Arco", the perfect stone arch carved by the constant waves and breezes at the southernmost tip of the magnificent Baja Peninsula. Charming San Jose del Cabo is a popular sight seeing venue very close to the Royal Solaris.
  • Diving and snorkeling: Many underwater adventurers have described the Sea of Cortez as "The World's Richest Sea". The waters are teeming with life in a myriad of colors and varieties. All of this makes for great diving and snorkeling. Beginner and advanced divers will enjoy the challenges near Land's End.
  • Mountain Biking and ATV: Mountain bikes can be rented and are a fun way to discover the desert area around Los Cabos. You can also ride ATVs, Jeeps, and Hummers and ride through desert trails.
  • Entertainment: Enjoy evening shows and theme nights at the Royal Solaris: Mexican Show is dedicated to Mexico with a delicious dinner with typical Mexican specialties and the most representative dances from the pre-Hispanic dance to the Veracruz Jarocho style, Monterrey "northern polkas", and Guadalajara's Jarabe Tapatio, including a live Mariachi band; the Latin Show powerfully takes the audience to a jungle atmosphere with exotic rhythms such as Afro, Salsa, and Merengue providing an exciting light and sound experience. Great costumes along with fire dancers guarantee a truly unique night for guests; the International Show is a gala event with world typical dances beginning in France, visiting Spain, dancing Argentine tangos, hot Brazilian salsa, and much more; Cinema Solaris is a fantastic tour through the most popular musicals from all time starting with Grease, West Side Story, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, and other great performances; Casino Night features fun money and exciting entertainment with the sports team in the lobby; and Karaoke Night where you take the stage and sing your favorite tunes. And if that doesn't totally satisfy your entertainment cravings, there is additional nightlife in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, depending on whether you frequent the excellent bars, cantinas, and discos or prefer quiet relaxation or a night stroll under the stars.
  • Horseback Riding: The Cuadra San Francisco Equestrian Center, on the corridor road between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, offers everything you need to explore the beaches at sunset, or venture into the foothills and along specially-marked riding trails. Tours available through the concierge.
  • Other Activities: A mile stroll to the north along the beach will bring you the San Jose Estuary, a bird sanctuary and Los Cabos only body of fresh water.
