Presidente Intercontinental
An all inclusive resort located along the Los Cabos Corridor

The village of San Jose del Cabo is one of the places that Nature bids her first Los Cabos good morning of the day, as she pours a helping of sunshine on this small and vibrant Mexican town, rich in history and culture. And that always puts Nature in a good mood for her next stop - a short stroll down the sloping landscape into the well-manicured gardens and courtyard of the beautiful Presidente Intercontinental Los Cabos Resort.

The all-inclusive Presidente Intercontinental, built in the adobe style with rich earth tones, is minutes away from San Jose del Cabo and comfortably rests on a long, wide, and luxurious stretch of golden sand. With the Sierra de San Lazaro Mountains towering in the distant background, miles of untouched desert scenery, and the gorgeous blues of the Sea of Cortez stretching as far as you can see, it's a stunning visual that will forever be etched in your memory.

The 3-story 395-room Presidente Intercontinental represents the best in casual-luxury, all-inclusive vacationing, offering variety in everything - several different choices of well-furnished rooms and suites, many restaurants and bars, three outdoor heated pools, onsite and offsite activities galore, a business center and extensive meeting facilities, land and water sports, the list is long and complete. The earth-tones adobe exterior resort (referred to as simply the Presidente in the local vernacular) accommodates with graceful versatility many types of travelers. Couples including newlyweds and honeymooners, families, single travelers, and even business or incentive groups will find the resort has just what they're looking for. The entire resort is also completely accessible to those with disabilities.

Between October and February gray whales migrate southward from the arctic to warmer Mexican waters, returning north again between February and July. Witness for yourself these magnificent creatures breeching close to shore or take one of many boating excursions available to see this incredible sight. Even blue whales and humpback whales occasionally make their way into the Sea of Cortez! The environmentally friendly Presidente has a natural estuary that borders the east of the resort. This fresh water lagoon is home to many species of birds. The resort also helps in protecting turtle eggs and assisting these beautiful little creatures, upon hatching, to make their way back into the sea.

A stay at the Presidente is a complete all-inclusive experience, including

  • Accommodations in room or suite
  • All taxes and gratuities
  • All meals and snacks at the in-hotel restaurants, bars, and pool swim-up bars
  • Unlimited domestic and international drinks
  • Daily activities for adults and children
  • 24-hour room service
  • Chiqui Children's Club with daily supervised activities for children ages 5 to 12
  • Non-motorized water sports
  • 24-hour Fitness center
  • Concierge services

One of the benchmarks of an all-inclusive is the quality of food and beverages served. You will be delighted at the culinary offering of the resort. While it can be a challenge for some resorts to maintain the quality and variety of all-inclusive dining, the Presidente shines in the kitchen and at the table, offering a superb list of options: From freshly caught seafood, crisp salad bars, and sizzling entrees hot off the grill, to fine gourmet Mexican dining to a romantic Italian restaurant. And that's just the half of it. Combine Californian-style cuisine at the Napa, the healthy choices at Frutas & Flores, juicy steaks at the Terraza, plus 24-hour room service and you have a first-class all-inclusive dining experience.

Another big plus of this resort is the meeting capacity. The Presidente can accommodate larger groups, with premier meeting facilities, advanced technological capabilities, in-house meeting planner, audio-visual equipment, multilingual services, stage lights, projection, screens, video conferencing, PCs and more. Six meeting rooms can be divided into nine independent units, plus gardens and beach areas for theme parties. Wedding receptions are also popular at the resort.

As with several resorts in Los Cabos, the Presidente has designed the outside pool and lounging areas to accommodate both your energetic, highly active mood and your quieter mood. Plenty of activities, music, etc. are going on at the main pools, but on the most eastern side of the resort, a calmer ambience prevails, the pool is more relaxing, and the most audible sounds may be the colorful calls of exotic birds in the estuary or the whinnies coming from the string of horses passing by with riders along the beach.

The Presidente offers some great recreational activities, such as a fully-equipped fitness center that's always open, three heated outdoor pools with bars, three illuminated outdoor tennis courts, daily activities program including water aerobics, bicycle tours, volleyball, and bingo. Massages, pilates, yoga, and tai chi are available. Activities and exciting things to do are not in short supply in Los Cabos area in general! Between the Presidente and Land's End in the distance, there are miles of sunny beaches, ATM and hummer tours in the desert, whale-watching tours (in-season), scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, fishing, and other water sports. Did we say fishing? As it happens, Los Cabos is the Marlin Capital of the world, with some of the best deep-sea fishing in the world! Let room service make you a box lunch to go and you're set for an exciting outing battling the big ones that won't get away. Golf and Los Cabos are hand-and-glove companions. From San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas there are several championship courses with lots of sunshine and jaw-dropping views of the Sea of Cortez. Guests of the resort enjoy a preferential rate at the Palmilla course.

Make your plans now to experience the wonder and charm of Los Cabos. Relive the beauty and romance of Mexico's past with today's fine amenities and discover for yourself why Los Cabos is one of Mexico's best destinations. The staff of the Presidente Intercontinental awaits you with a sunny bienvenidos. See you in Los Cabos!
