Beach: The beach area closest to Los Patios is the Medano beach, one of the best in all of Los Cabos, and is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and all water sports. Also enjoy sunbathing, strolling along the beach, jogging, brilliant sunsets, and soft starry nights. All Los Cabos beaches are open to the public. Some have great surfing; others are relatively calm. All beaches on the Pacific shore, such as Playa Solmar, Playa del Amor and even the Pacific side of Land's End are not safe for swimming or snorkeling, due to the swift ocean currents, large waves, and undertows; however, there are many wonderful beaches along the shores of the Sea of Cortez that are good for swimming and snorkeling, such as Playa Bledito, Playa Medano, and Playa Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, all of which have very safe swimming conditions.
Pools: The resort has a large pool with cascading waterfalls spilling over the pools outer rock edge. Complimentary lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, and towels are provided all throughout the pool area. There is also a giant Jacuzzi at the head of the pool.

Golf: Los Cabos and Golf are inseparable friends, and it's evident in Los Cabos. There are several championship golf courses in the region. A few examples: The Cabo Del Sol ocean course, designed by Jack Nicklaus and ranked in Golf Magazine as one of the top courses of the world. Cabo Del Sol features challenging oceanfront holes, and offers sweeping views of the desert hills and Sea of Cortez; The Robert Trent Jones-designed Cabo Real course; the Jack Nicklaus-designed El Dorado Golf Club; and the Tom Weiskopf-designed eighteen-hole Desert Course at Cabo del Sol. The magnificent terrain is comparable to that found in Arizona and California desert golf courses. Los Cabos is especially beautiful due to the presence of the Sea of Cortez, a stretch of indescribable blue water bordering many of the courses. And with 350 days of the year having clear skies, there is a lot of excellent weather for golfing.
Water Sports: Enjoy sailing and boating, windsurfing, kayaking, beach volleyball, and body boarding during select places along the beach. Also available are many motorized water sports, including parasailing, wave runners, and jet skiing. The best snorkeling can be found at these beaches: Santa Maria, Chileno, Roca Pelicano, Costa Azul, Playa Palmilla, and Cabo Pulmo. Surfing is good at Costa Azul or Zipper Beach, and at Cabo Bello. Los Patios is next door to the marina at Cabo San Lucas where you can secure watercraft for all types of outings and tours.

Deep Sea Fishing: The prolific fishing waters of Los Cabos are legendary as to the number and variety of fish caught year-round. These waters rival any other fishing venue in the world for productivity. Haven't ever really fished before? No worries! This area is a great place to learn and to feel the thrill of your first sport-fishing excursion. Experienced guides will show you all the ropes and help you net your big catch. Are you a fishing veteran? Then you can start working all the sooner on reeling in your prize catch. A fishing outing gives you an opportunity to view Los Cabos and its landmarks from a different perspective, from the sea looking landward. You may even get a close-up look at whales and seals during the right time of year.
Exploration and Sight Seeing: Gray whales are found in Arctic feeding grounds between April and November and in Mexican waters from December to April. Between October and February they migrate south, returning north again between February and July. Enjoy some marvelous whale watching during their annual migrations. Even the mighty blue whales and singing humpback whales visit the Sea of Cortez! Occasionally dolphins will also make their way. A must see is "El Arco", the perfect granite stone arch carved by the constant waves and breezes at the southernmost tip of the magnificent Baja Peninsula. This is a truly stunning site, where the desert meets the sea, a tip of paradise known as Land's End. Consider a city tour of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, a day tour to La Paz, or a sunset cruise.
Fitness Center: There is the use of a nearby fitness center that will be discounted for Los Patios guests.
Hiking: Desert hiking is best in the winter when temperatures are more temperate; however, summer hiking can be enjoyed in the early morning. See how beautiful the desert really is, how delicate the ecosystem is, and admire the interesting geological formations. There's a lot more in the desert than first meets the eye. So get your water, sunscreen and hat, and happy exploring!
Entertainment: Although there is no organized entertainment at Los Patios, the nightlife in the Los Cabos is close by, and ranges from relaxing to rowdy, depending on whether you frequent the bars, cantinas, and discos, or prefer quiet relaxation or a night stroll under the stars. There are many places to enjoy live jazz and other music, salsa dancing, and listening to roaming Mariachis playing Mexican songs. Los Patios is a few minutes drive from downtown, so it's much quieter.
